These are its three applications -
1) as an air gun for blowing out moulds and patterns,
etc.
2) as a spray gun for applying Foundry liquid dressings
(Moldcote, Terracote etc.) and partings
(Separol, etc.)
3) as an agitator for dressings that tend to settle
out.
Each change of operation is easily achieved by a simple
finger and thumb action as shown in the diagrams.
For producting a really fine spray the T.A.-76 Gun is
recommended for the Foundry dressing Moldcote, Terrapaint,
Flamco, Terra-Powder Dycote, Hardcote, Separol & Chilcote
